Terms of Use

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and [Developer name], the operator of CartCircle: Shopping List (“CartCircle”). By creating an account or using CartCircle, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Store-platform terms also apply. If you downloaded CartCircle from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s standard end-user license agreement applies unless a custom license is provided through App Store Connect.

• Provide accurate information and keep your account details reasonably current.
• Protect your password, device, and Google or Apple sign-in account.
• Do not share access in a way that allows another person to impersonate you.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by a failure within CartCircle that you could not reasonably prevent.

CartCircle gives you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the app for personal shopping organization and family collaboration, subject to these terms and applicable law.

The app can synchronize stores, items, saved lists, family groups, and recurring shopping automations. You remain responsible for checking shopping information, schedules, quantities, and notifications before relying on them.

People you invite to a family group may view and change shared stores, lists, items, and related group information. Only invite people you trust and avoid placing sensitive personal information in shopping descriptions or item names.

Group ownership may be transferred when an owner leaves or deletes an account. Shared content may remain available to the remaining members as described in the Privacy Policy and Account Deletion page.

You must not use CartCircle to:

• Break the law, violate another person’s rights, or facilitate harmful conduct.
• Harass people, send unwanted invitations, or upload unlawful or abusive content.
• Access another person’s account or data without authorization.
• Probe, disrupt, overload, bypass, or interfere with security or service operation.
• Reverse engineer or copy the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Use automated means to scrape data or make excessive requests without permission.

You keep ownership of content you enter or upload. You give us a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the CartCircle service and provide features you request.

CartCircle’s software, design, branding, and other service materials belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

CartCircle uses third-party cloud infrastructure, identity providers, notification delivery services, and app distribution platforms. When you use Google or Apple sign-in, or obtain the app through Google Play or Apple’s App Store, the relevant provider’s terms and privacy policy also apply. We select and configure these services with security and reliability in mind, but do not control their independent operation.

We work to keep CartCircle reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, network conditions, provider outages, security needs, or events beyond our reasonable control. Features may be changed, added, or removed as the app evolves.

Push notifications and scheduled automations depend on device settings, internet access, operating-system behavior, and cloud services. They should not be used for safety-critical, medical, emergency, or time-critical reminders.

You may stop using CartCircle at any time and may permanently delete your account. See Account Deletion for the available methods and an explanation of shared family data.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, investigate misuse, or address a serious or repeated violation of these terms. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CartCircle is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or loss of data, profits, or opportunity, arising from use of CartCircle. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We may update these terms to reflect changes to CartCircle, legal requirements, or service providers. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice for material changes where required. Continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.

These terms are governed by applicable law and do not prevent you from relying on mandatory protections or courts available under the laws of your place of residence.
